Five at the Window

five black cats looking out window

They aren’t concerned that these warm temperatures are unusual for mid March. Open the window! Let’s hear the birds!

At the window, Mr. Sunshine, Giuseppe and Jelly Bean, and behind, Mewsette and Mimi. The girls got their time at the window too, and I got a number of photos, but this was the only one where none of them was blurry, difficult for photographing five black cats!

I do put that table back in order every day, but it’s hopeless when that’s the staging area for Cat TV. Soon enough I’ll have my desk reorganized and they’ll be able to have the whole area, just in time for summer breezes to come in the window.

I adore black cats. I own a black cat and also three mainly black torties and a calico. When I photograph the group looking out a window it can be difficult to tell them apart.

The first thing that came to mind was…. herd of elephants!! Just that this picture made me think about what it must sound like when they all get frisky and start chasing each other around. What fun!!! (I really do mean that) >^^<

Kim, you’re not too far off! When I opened the window they came running from everywhere, upstairs, downstairs, across my desk, and my steps are particularly noisy. I’m accustomed the the amount of noise but visitors have actually looked a little frightened on hearing them running downstairs for the first time.
